1. Every Saturday evening at 6:00 - 8:00 PM please join us for the open mike/story swap at The Boston Gourmet Coffeehouse in DeLand. Click here for directions Click here for map

2. There will be a meeting of Sandcastle Storytellers, Inc. at Crane Lakes on the third Friday of each month at 2 PM in the Card Room. These dates are: March 16, April 20, May 18, June 15, July 20, August 17, September 21, October 19, November 16, December 21. Ray Gant will facilitate the meeting.

3. Our regular performance at the Riviera (1825 Ridgewood, Av, Holly Hill) will be the second Thursday of every other month at 6 P M. 2012 dates are April 12, June 14, August 9, October 11, December 13. If you would like to tell a story please contact Ray.

4. We will be offering story coaching once a month at the Boston Gourmet meeting on Saturday nights starting the second Saturday in March. Contact Terry Deer for more information. Click here for directions Click here for map

5. Sandcastle had their annual get-together/meeting on Sunday, January 15 from 2-5 pm at Mira Bella (767 McKenzie Rd) in Lake Helen.

6. A farewell party for Shirley and Bill Dunwoody will be held at Mira Bella on Friday, March 9 from 6 -9 pm. Contact Gia for information. Click here for directions.

Sandcastle has enjoyed participating in this Liar's contest over the past several years. A couple of our members have performed at the festival and a few Sandcastlers have won/placed in the competition. If you would like to participate this year, Ray has once again "offered" to make a DVD. Please let him know if you'd like to be included in the DVD.
