1. Every Saturday evening at 6:00 - 8:00 PM please join us for the open mike/story swap at The Boston Gourmet Coffeehouse in DeLand.

2. There will be an meeting of Sandcastle Storytellers, Inc. at Crane Lakes on the third Friday of each month in the Card Room. These dates are: August 20, September 17, October 15, November 19, December 17. Ray Gant will facilitate the meeting.

Directions: West 1 mile on Taylor Road from I-95. Entrance on Right. Crane Lakes is situated between I-95 and Tomoka Farms Road (Rte. 415) on the North side of the street. We are meeting in the card room.

3. Our regular performance at the Riviera will be on second Thursday of every other month at 6 PM. If you would like to come and tell a story please contact Ray. We have moved the meeting to Thursday at 6 PM so that we will not be in competition with Bingo and other popular activities on the Riviera schedule. We are hoping to get a bigger audience. Those of you who have been to the Riviera know that they are a wonderful audience even when they are few in number!

Sandcastle has enjoyed participating in this Liar's contest over the past several years. A couple of our members have performed at the festival and a few Sandcastlers have won/placed in the competition. If you would like to participate this year, Ray has once again "offered" to make a DVD. Please let him know if you'd like to be included in the DVD.
